Featured Speakers and Panelists
- Prof. Brent Warner — Irvine Valley College, USA. Brent is known internationally for his work in education, podcasting, and helping teachers connect, collaborate, and grow together. His message: Being proactive in finding and participating in communities that align with our vision for the future is the best way to ensure that we grow and create a better world.
- Hind Elyas — TESOL professional, Alfalak contributor, and award-winning educator from Saudi Arabia. Her message: When we share experiences, challenges, and ideas, we create opportunities for meaningful change.
- Dr. Eric Hawkinson — Founder of Together Learning Japan. His session, Why the AI Generation Needs What We Never Had, explores why community, connection, and collaboration may be more important than ever in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
VOC Video Contest
Theme: How A Community Impacted My Life
Maximum video length: 1 minute
Entry deadline: June 28
Educators are invited to share a one-minute video about a community that opened a door, offered support, inspired new ideas, or helped them through a difficult moment.
How to Enter
- Create and post your video on your Facebook feed.
- Tag @VoicesOfChange in your post so we can find it.
- Return to the contest announcement and leave a comment with your name and a short note about why community matters to you.
Prize Announcement
The first prize is 3 months of Eduling Premium Access, including access to IELTS preparation, pronunciation and writing development, teacher development courses, AI-supported IELTS practice, AI score predictions, and a growing library of learning resources.
Our panel will select the Top 4 videos, which will then go forward to public voting on the VOC page. Winners will be announced during the VOC Global Launch Event on July 7.
